Our Verification Methodology
Every provider in our directory undergoes a rigorous verification process. Here's exactly what we check and why it matters.
IICRC Certification
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) sets the standard for the restoration industry.

California law requires contractors performing mold remediation over $500 to hold a valid CSLB license with the appropriate classification.
What we verify:
- Active license status with the Contractors State License Board
- Appropriate classification (typically B, C-33, or D-63)
- Workers' compensation compliance
- No unresolved complaints or disciplinary actions
Insurance Coverage
Proper insurance protects you if something goes wrong during the remediation process.
